Lux Investments Intl was founded by Sean Seshadri. Sean went to medical school in Brooklyn, NY where he pursued a career as a radiologist and achieved great success in his field of interest. In 2002, Sean was working 12 hours a day and in considerable debt from student loans. It was during an internal medicine rotation where his professor Dr. Mauceri, by accident opened his eyes in 2003.
Dr. Mauceris' nephew was a trader making six figures, and that prompted Sean to learn everything he could regarding the subject of trading. Dr. Seshadri was convinced that his life was as a trader and was committed to success, as failure was not an option. The first year was very difficult as it was very hard for Dr. Seshadri to leave medicine as there was little support with his decision. It was Dr. Mauceri who gave Sean the support he needed and with just 5 thousand dollars, Sean was able to clear his student loans in less than a year which was over 200,000 USD. With renewed vigor and a passion for the financial markets, Sean was able to acquire funds from private investors in the medical community to trade, and also secured funding from private VC companies to fund a brokerage company in India.
His cofounder is named Ranjeet Chhabria, and has been the VP of several large investment firms overseas. He was the the vice president of Religare, and as the head of wealth management grew the equity broking business at astonishing rates of return. Currently Lux Investments is a private fund and an educational company. Dr. Seshadri has taught countless numbers of students and has retired many physicians and is instructing high net worth individuals how to implement his creative options strategies to generate extraordinary profits. Dr. Mauceri and his other professors are now his students and have come to his seminars to change their financial life.
He is the cofounder and manager of trading operations of C&S securities in India. Dr. Seshadri spent a majority of 2005 on the CBOE, and has taken the floor strategies of fellow floor traders and made them more innovative with higher yielding profits. He is currently the featured speaker at Physician conventions around the country, and has more than 1,000 people at these events learning to trade. The brokerage company in India is a full service brokerage where we will be selling mutual funds, insurance, and earning brokerage commissions.
We will also be trading clients' money through commodities and equities with other derivative products such as options and futures. The other part of the business, which is expanding operations in Asia and which Dr. Seshadri is an expert, is an educational business where we will teach individuals how to invest on their own. For those individuals who are high net worth we will be trading their money through global markets in a variety of products. LII is on a mission to train as many traders as possible to trade the firms' money both domestically and globally.
